Cheese Oregano Toast...

Today I have got a new exciting recipe for all. It called a Cheese Oregano Toast.
So, I would like to share its magic(recipe).

So for the ingredients:

We will need
  • 2 layers of bread(white or brown)
  • 1 cheese cube
  • Some oregano
And we will need a toaster.

So now lets have a look at its method..
  •  First of all take a layer of bread and place some thin layers of cheese on it. Put more layers if you want extra cheese oregano toast.
  • Then sprinkle some oregano on it. I would prefer to sprinkle more oregano as it would taste superb.
  • Then cover this layer of bread with the other one and carefully place it in the toaster. Preheat the toaster before placing the toast in it.
  • Apply some butter on the upper surface of your toast so that when it goes in the toaster, it will get a nice brown color on it.
  • Keep looking your toast time to time by opening the toaster.
  • Take it out when it seems to have turned brown and crispy.
  • Place it on a plate and serve.
One specialty apart from its taste is that this toast is equally tasty when it is cold and hot.

So, enjoy your special Cheese Oregano Toast and just enjoy life  :)

Ways To Improve Your Communication Skills...

Hey there! Today I have a nice and important topic to discuss which I know will surely be helpful to all who read this post.
This topic is about the ways to improve one's communication skills instantly.
So, how can you do it? Lets have a look at some ways -

1) KNOW WHAT YOU WANT TO SAY

By thinking about your thoughts before you speak, you will increase your effectiveness as a powerful communicator. So, think before you speak and know fully what you speak.

2) CONTROL FEAR

Fear is the biggest obstruction in the way of fluent communication. Thus, overcome it.
Focus on the-

  • Listener and not yourself
  • Topic

3) STOP TALKING AND LISTEN

Conversation should be like a match, each person having a turn to give and receive. Allow your opponent to speak and respect his/her point of view.

4) BELIEVE IN YOUR MESSAGE

This is the most important part of any successful communication. Speak with passion and allow your feelings and body language to flow naturally. If you will believe in your own message then you will easily be able to make others believe in your thought too.

5) REPEAT MAJOR POINTS

Remember your major points and repeat them time to time to put a strong impact on the opponent.

6) AVOID DAY-DREAMING

Avoid daydreaming and focus on your speaker. Do not take long time to think about your speech.

7) USE MIND MAPPING

Mind mapping is a system of recording our thoughts so that we can remember them well. In order to do this, use symbols, words and colors etc. These markings will definitely be helpful in your conversation and to remember things and topics.

8) SUPPORT STATEMENTS WITH DETAILS

In talking to others be prepared to give more details. Put your most important statement first and then support it with details to make a strong impact on the opponent. The details with your main point will help to a great extent to make your opponent believe in you.

9) USE SHORT SENTENCES

Shorter sentences contain more power. They are also easier to interpret.

10) ELIMINATE NEGATIVE FEELINGS

Negative feelings drain out your energy. Thus, gain control of your feelings.

11) USE GOOD MANNERS

Good manners are always nice to use. Say such things as"please, thank you, excuse me" with sincerity. Show your interest in the conversation.

So, these were some points to improve your communication skills instantly and very effectively.
I hope you all will like it and that it becomes useful to all.

Last but not the least, here is a quote -

Your words are the clothes that
thoughts wear, so dress them well

Some Inspiring Thoughts

Hello all. I just came across some very nice sayings and epigrams in "Sanskrit"(an Indian language) and so just thought to share their meaning.
I couldn't write the sayings in Sanskrit but i am writing its translation and its meaning...

1)  A saying told by good men with ease is written on stone. Even the oath taken by an evil men is like a letter written on water.

Explanation:-

Anything told by good men even casually is so effective and valuable that it is worthy to be engraved on a stone so that it remains permanently. But an oath even taken by an evil person is so false and temporary that is can be compared to a letter written on water(so temporary). Thus by this saying the poet is trying to tell us the value of saying of a good and an evil person.

2)  As a big stone is placed on a mountain with great effort, within a moment it is made to fall down. Similarly soul in matter of virtues and vices. One finds it difficult to rise up to acquire virtues but easy to fall down to be acquainted with vices.

Explanation:-

In this verse the poet is saying that as a stone is place on a mountain with great effort, similarly within seconds it is made to fall from the mountain. Making it fall down is much much easy compared to taking it up. Similarly for a soul, to go towards the path of goodness is very difficult but falling in the wrong path is very easy. Ex. if a person wants to become a good men who is very kind and without any evil intention then it will take a considerable time and even strong will power. But if the same person wants to become a evil one then it will not at all take time or will power. It will be very easy for him/her.Thus this is the message given by the poet.Constant efforts should be done to become a good men and to make our lives meaningful.

3) As gold is tested in 4 ways-by rubbing, cutting, heating and striking, similarly a man is also tested by 4 ways-by knowledge, action, character and qualities.

Explanation:-

In this verse the poet is describing the tests by which gold and a man can be examined. The gold is tested of its purity in 4 ways-by rubbing on stone, cutting, heating it in fire and by striking it. By these tests only the purity of gold is tested and it is made beautiful. Similarly a man is also tested by 4 ways for this purity of soul and character-by his/her knowledge,character,skills/qualities and actions. Thus these are the measures to check the purity of gold and a human being.

4) With the change of time whatever is learnt is lost. The trees having strong roots fall down and water existing in reservoirs dry up. Whatever is offered as an oblation in fire and whatever is given remains as it is for ever.

Explanation:-

By this verse the poet is trying to tell us the changes that time can cause.Time is such a thing that it can change even the most hardest or toughest thing. But there is a limitation also. Time cannot change the thing that is offered as oblation in fire during a ritual and the thing that is donated to others by us. This was said by Karna(a character of Mahabharata who donated his divine earrings and arms to an other person) to his charioteer Shalya who prevented Karna to donate his things. By this verse we get to know the importance of donation to others and oblation in fire during a ritual.

5) Indeed happiness looks good after having experienced sorrow like a sight of a lamp in thick darkness.A man who becomes poor after happiness lives like a dead having a body.

Explanation:-

It is a universal truth that 'happiness is indeed more appreciated when it comes after sorrow'. It is like a sight of a lamp in the thick darkness. In happiness man forgets all the sorrows of the past and even if he remembers them then they do not affect his present happiness. On the other hand if a man after experiencing happiness becomes poor then then he remembers his prosperity in the past. This memory adds to his sorrows. Due to good past but bad present he always feels like a dead. Thus we should always try to be balanced in happiness as well as in sorrow.

6) A good person engrossed in doing good to others does not bear enmity even at the time of destruction. A sandal tree when cut makes the edge of an axe fragrant.

Explanation:-

A really good person is naturally inclined in doing good to others. He is selfless in the sense that his being good is not dependent on how others behave with him. This is supported by an example- A sandal wood tree makes the edge of an axe fragrant even when it is cut. A person who is good to those who are bent on destroying him is the rarest human being and goodness can never be arrested from him.

These sayings have deeply affected my life and I am strongly trying to implement these in my life.
I hope you must have liked it.

The Watermelon Way

Here I am sharing some of the facts and benefits and even risks of eating a yummy tempting watermelon!

First of all lets start with what is a watermelon? although most of us would know it :p

Watermelon is a vine-like flowering plant originally from southern Africa. It is a large, sprawling annual plant with coarse, hairy pinnately-lobed leaves and white to yellow flowers. It is grown for its edible fruit. The fruit has a smooth hard rind, usually green with dark green stripes or yellow spots, and a juicy, sweet interior flesh, usually deep red to pink, but sometimes orange, yellow, or white, with many seeds.

I know this sounds much of science but basically watermelon is what we all know-a fruit and even a vegetable.

 Watermelon Facts:

  • watermelon is more than 91 percent water.
  • It has more lycopene than raw tomatoes.
  • The watermelon can be classed as both a fruit and a vegetable.
  • It is a fruit because it grows from a seed, has a sweet refreshing flavor, and is loosely considered a type of melon (although it is actually a type of berry called a pepo).
  • It is a vegetable because it is a member of the same family as the cucumber, pumpkin and squash. It is also harvested and cleared from fields like other vine growing vegetables.
  • There are more than 1200 varieties of watermelon that come in various weights, shapes, sizes and red, orange, yellow or white in color.
  • It contains vitamins A, B6 and C, lots of lycopene, antioxidants and amino acids.
  • All parts of a watermelon can be eaten, even the rind.
  Health benefits:

  • Watermelon fruit is a good source of potassium; Potassium is an important component of cell and body fluids that helps controlling heart rate and blood pressure. It, thus, offers protection against stroke and coronary heart diseases.
  • It is also rich in anti-oxidant flavonoids like lycopene, beta-carotene, lutein, zeaxanthin and cryptoxanthin. These antioxidants have been found to offer protection against colon, prostate, breast, endometrial, lung, and pancreatic cancers. Phyto-chemicals present in watermelon like lycopene and carotenoids have the ability to help protect cells and other structures in the body from oxygen-free radicals.
  • The juice may relieve muscle soreness.
  • To really maximize your lycopene intake, let your watermelon fully ripen. The redder your watermelon gets, the higher the concentration of lycopene becomes.
  • Eating watermelon on a hot summer day is a tasty way to help you stay hydrated and avoid.
  Its Seeds:
  • One of several minerals found in watermelon seeds is magnesium.
  • A handful of watermelon seeds contains about 0.29 mg of iron which is an important component of hemoglobin — carrying oxygen through the body. It also helps your body convert calories into energy.
  The Rind:
  • Its rind, also known as the citrulline might give your workout a boost.
  • Citrulline might improve your next athletic performance as well.
  • It Can Reduce Your Blood Pressure.
  • If your doctor instructed you to lower your blood pressure, try eating watermelon — rind and all. Some research has shown that watermelon extract supplements are able to help obese adults control their blood pressure.
  Now For The Risks:

  • Though most of us think that watermelons might not have any risks but....
  • If eaten in reasonable amounts, watermelons should produce no serious side effects. If you eat an abundance of the fruit daily, however, you may experience problems from having too much lycopene or potassium.
  • The consumption of more than 30 mg of lycopene daily could potentially cause nausea, diarrhea, indigestion and bloating, according to the American Cancer Society.
These were some of the many facts and benefits and ricks whatever u name it of a very tempting fruit and even a vegetable called the watermelon!
